Cory grew up in Long Beach, L. I. and Miami Beach, Fl. After graduating high school attended Ball State Teachers College in Muncie, Indiana and then became a short lived physical education teacher. She joined the work force in New York as an assistant buyer in a buying office and the rest is history. Cory later went to the wholesale end and found her niche as a marketing/merchandising executive. Cory launched many designer labels in her own career, Michael Kors, Geoffery Beene, and Christian Dior Sportswear and in the early 80s became the first Women President of a Fortune 500 company in the clothing sector.

After 35 years in the fashion business she decided it was time to retire from the high pressure and move to Key West, Florida. Retirement lasted about 1 1/2 years and then it was on to the career of real estate, where she has taken the same dedication she had in her business career and propelled herself into being in the top 16 percent of all sales associates across the country earning membership into the Diamond Society in 2004, 2005.

In 2006, she joined one of the most prestigious companies in Key West, Preferred Properties / Christies Great Estates and is continuing her success.

Cory is dedicated to giving oustanding personal service both in Real Estate and in the Community. Currently she is the Fund Raising Chairman and Secretary to the Key West Pops.
